Aspen Style
July 3rd, 1999

Designer Carolina Herrera, along with Lana Marks and Bvlgari raised $50,000 at the Aspen Style event to benefit Les Dames d'Aspen. Aspen Style, held at the St. Regis Hotel, was a 'glimmer' of jewels and fashions. The fashion event featured Carolina Herrera's Fall Collection which Herrera herself calls: 'a collection for a woman who are confident, radiant and not afraid to be glamorous.' Herreras' Fafl Collection is available at LaPoints in Denver.

In addition, accessory designer Lana Marks featured her new line with the Aspen Ballet Company presenting her collection of handbags and accessories.

Les Dames d'Aspen was created in 1983 and is comprised of over sixty members, all Aspen residents, who in the past decade raised and dispersed over $2 million to worthy arts organizations and programs in Aspen, such as Dance Aspen & the Aspen Art Museum. In 1995, Les Dames d'Aspen elected to diversify its gifts to include other worthy Arts organizations in Aspen. Grant applications are invited and funds are awarded on an annual basis.
