Ivana Trump once again returns to South Florida to host Moonlight Rhapsody V, an exclusive, invitation only affair which generates funds for non-profit organizations. Ms. Trump, along with Miami Beach Mayor Neisen Kasden, Laurie Jennings (anchor WSVN-TV-7) and Kristi Krueger (anchor WPLG-TV 10) are raising funds for Stop the Vioence/Face the Music. To date, Moonlight Rhapsody has raised more then $300,000 for charitable causes nationwide.

This year’s reception took place at the private estate of Mr. and Mrs.Rubinson on Star Island and was the first event benefiting STV/FTM which South Florida has hosted.  The timing could not be more critical. Established in 1992, STV/FTM is the only program dedicated to stopping violence in the classroom and on the streets. The February 29th fatal shooting of a 6 year-old girl by another 6 year old  is still further proof that support of this program is vital and necessary. President Clinton recently recognized the importance of STV/FTM by saying: “I applaud your organization for  your creative and responsible use of music and television to change young people’s attitude about violence. I am pleased to learn of your efforts to address the tragedy of youth violence."
