Miami Beach, Florida (Saturday, September 22, 2001) - TMG Entertainment, Mr. & Mrs. Roy Black, Paolo Sadri, Laurie Jennings, Karim Masri and Antonio Misuraca joined together Saturday night at the Hotel Astor to host
Tribute to Life. Barry Gibb, of the Bee Gees, and wife Linda, Football Hall of Famer Jim Brown and news anchors Jennifer Valoppi and Laurie Jennings were among the distinguished guests who attended the benefit dinner, which raised more than $10,000 for the American Red Cross.
The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disasters and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. It does this through services consistent with its congressional charter and the fundamental principles of the international Red Cross movement. The programs and services of the American Red Cross are made possible through the voluntary efforts and financial support of the American people. The Red Cross is a non-governmental, non-profit organization.
Tribute to Life, which attracted more than 100 guests, let South Floridians of all races and religions ban together to show their support for those lost in the horrific events of September 11th.
