VENICE FILM FESTIVAL LANDS A SUITE DEAL

VIP Suite draws A-list celebrities seeking shelter and couture 
from the film festival frenzy

MIAMI, FL -- (September 18, 2002) -- Glamour was the name of the game at the 59th Annual Venice Film Festival when VIP Suite Venezia took place at the Palazzo Barbaro in Venice, Italy earlier this month. The legendary Lido Beach was overrun by wide-eyed movie fans and, of course, celebrities.

VIP Suite - Venezia was no stranger to the excitement and the celebrification of this year's film festival. The brainchild of TMG, a Miami and Beverly Hills based marketing and events firm, the VIP Suite displayed couture from Bill Blass, jewelry from Bulgari, makeup services and products from MAC Cosmetics and hair care products from Alfaparf, as well as hair by Styling Director Danny Jelaca of Stella Salon. The VIP Suite offered a one-stop location where actresses Elizabeth Berkeley, singer Shirley Bassey, talk-show host Jules Asner and socialite Lady Helen Taylor took advantage of the Suite's exclusive fashion and makeup services. 

A New York Times article on VIP Suite - Venezia cites, "Bill Blass and the cosmetics company MAC have added their names to an august roster of design houses lending products to festival luminaries... 'We see this as a great product placement opportunity,' said Paolo Sadri of TMG Entertainment, the event management company that helped organize the suite." The article continues, "A-list awards shows like the Oscars and independent festivals like Sundance have long attracted fashion makers eager to [make the most of] their marketing potential."

The site of VIP Suite - Venezia was no less than glamorous at the Palazzo Barbaro. As celebrities and dignitaries walked into the 17th-century home to receive the royal treatment, they were greeted with views of the picturesque Palazzo Franchetti Cavalli and the famous Accademia Bridge.

In January 2003, VIP Suite will be heading to Park City, Utah for the Sundance Film Festival - the most important film festival in the United States and, second to the Oscars, expects the most major filmmakers and celebrities in attendance.
