WHAT: Superbowl XXXVI Party
WHO: Hosted by National Football League Hall of Famer and motion picture actor,
Jim Brown, the most honored player of his time, unanimously chosen all-NFL eight times, twice the Pro Bowl's Most Valuable Player, winner of the Hickok award as the outstanding pro athlete and awarded the Jim Thorpe trophy as the NFL's Most Valuable Player, as well as ESPN's Athlete of the Century.
BENEFICIARY: Amer-I-Can was founded by Brown in 1988 as a program designed to help individuals experience success by equipping them with the tools to overcome obstacles and achieve success. Working with
General Colin Powell, the organization is dedicated to improving tomorrow's promise - the youth of today. This alliance has brought together political leaders with non-profit agencies, corporations with local communities and government with communities of faith to fulfill five promises to America's youth: a healthy start, effective education, opportunities to serve the community, a safe environment with access to learning tools and a mentor to lend support.
